This week in Media News, An interview with Vermin Supreme, a Dire Reading/interview with Carly Israel, and a reading on Big Table's YouTube Channel

 Jason Wright, editor and host had Vermin Supreme, perennial political candidate and Anarchist.  Vermin is "that guy with the boot on his head" is a character, and extremely smart. He was the Libertarian Candidate in 2016 for President of the United States. I participated as co-host, for the Oddball Magazine Podcast and Joshua Corwin showed up with a few questions.  Go to Vermin's website, do a deep google, and give this a watch.

Although people say a Pushcart nomination has no meaning----as anyone can nominate anyone from any webpage---even yourself from your own--it means a lot when a publisher/editor (Robin Stratton) who has put out a large amount of work names you in their Top 5. Loved that it's a "made America greatly worse" poem. Thanks @realdonaldtrump--you're an inspiration and a fucking peach.

Timothy Gager's “The Thursday Appointments of Bill Sloan” is a gangbusters novel, its characters sharply defined against a backdrop both tense and funny. Bill Sloan is the therapist no one wants, especially since you might say he needs therapy more than his patients. This is a great read.
